Island Resident Wins Corona Contest!

A few weeks back, I was sitting at the bar at Cruz Bay Landing when Amanda Perry, one of my favorite servers and island friend, walked over to say hello. During our chat, she mentioned that Corona was having a sunset contest. All you had to do was take a picture of a Corona is front of a sunset and upload it to social media using the hashtag #CoronaSunsetsMoment. Sounded pretty easy, right?

Well guess what… Guess who happened to have won that contest??? Amanda herself! How exciting!

“I was sitting at the Beach Bar and I was drinking a Corona,” Amanda told me the other day, again as I was sitting at the bar at the Landing. (I’m a creature of habit folks.) I took a picture, uploaded it and I won!”

So you may be wondering what she won. Well Amanda is being whisked away today to the Corona Sunsets Music Festival in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. How fun! She’ll be there for a few days, and we’ll let you all know how it was when she returns.
