map hurricane

Hurricane Gonzalo passed northeast of St. John overnight. As of 5 a.m., the storm was located about 90 miles north/northeast of St. Thomas. There was little to no impact in the territory.

The hurricane watch and tropical storm warnings have been discontinued for the island. The rain will diminish rapidly today.

All ports have been reopened as of 6:45 a.m. All government offices will be open today. Public schools will also be open.
