Guy Benjamin: ‘I have seen the impossible’

The 95-year-old namesake of the Guy Benjamin School told a St. John Rotary luncheon that with President Obama's election, "I have seen the impossible happen."  During his remarks, the former schoolteacher remembered his childhood as a happy one.  "We could fish, go to school, visit our neighbors, and we played from morning to night," Guy Benjamin said, according to an report by the St. John Source.

  1. Mr. Guy Benjamin is truely a special man and provides a wonderful picure of his childhood on the island. I encourage wandering tourists to stop by his stand and get a copy of his book and take the time to visit.
