Hello and happy Sunday everyone! So, I received a few texts from Mama and Papa News of St. John last Thursday saying it was snowing in Connecticut … snow! Well guess what? There is zero snow in our forecast here on St. John. Guess what else? There are some great deals happening now. Interested? Then read on…
We researched flights within the next 30 days and found some pretty good deals. As always, we used Google’s Matrix Airfare Search. The parameters: A seven-stay within the next 30 days.
Boston: We know it’s chilly up there, and we have great news for you. You can leave on Sunday, November 13th on American for only $307 roundtrip. What a deal!
New York City area: Looking for a post-Thanksgiving trip? Well you all can fly out of Newark for just $306 roundtrip, also on American on Friday, November 25th. There’s a bit of a layover, but it’s worth it for that price. Grab a few cocktails at the airport and simply start your vacay early.
Washington, DC: Looking to come visit me for my birthday weekend? Well for those of you able to travel on November 12th (two days after my bday … woot woot!), you can do so on Delta for just $413.
Miami: How does Thanksgiving on St. John sound? For those of you willing to travel on the holiday itself, you can do so direct for just $290 on American.
Chicago and Dallas: You too have great deals for a post-Thanksgiving trip. You can be here in time for happy hour for just $327 if you leave on Friday, November 25th. The only pitfall of this trip is that the deal is on Spirit, which is probably the worst airline ever.
Los Angeles: If you don’t mind a pretty long layover, you can travel here on either November 12th or 13th for just $461 round trip on American. It includes an overnight layover in Philly, so perhaps you can grab a cheesesteak for us on your way down.
Accommodations here on island are also rather inexpensive this time of year. High season rates have yet to kick in, and several villas and villa management companies are offering some great last minute deals. You can check out some of our favorites over on our Island Information page.
Where’s the love for Texas? And I’m talking Houston, not Dallas…
Guess I need to move to LA so I can get a cheaper flight than from the ATL.
What a difference a week makes
