The annual Food Festival in Cruz Bay came off without a hitch over the weekend in the Cruz Bay park, part of the St. John Festival.
John Brandi was on hand with his iPhone, showing what a cool new free app called SpinCam can do … stitching together a bunch of stills into what then looks like a 360-degree walk around. (Find it in the iTunes Store.) You can see what it all looked like here.
Tasty treats were also plentiful and varied. Lobster in butter sauce was offered by two women from St. Thomas and St. Croix.

A St. John woman was raising funds so she can participate in the London Olympics. And alumni of the University of the Virgin Islands were soliciting money to observe the school’s 50th anniversary celebration.
