Ceremonies of St. John: A Real Wedding for Two

couple

Ceremonies of St. John plans many different types of weddings and vow renewals each year, but the most intimate weddings planned are those that simply include two people – the bride and the groom.

Emily Muscoe and Ben Schmitt married each other on Friday, May 15, 2015, and according to Stacy Mulcare of Ceremonies of St. John, it was obvious to from the start that these two people are madly in love with each other.

Emily and Ben travelled to St. John from Michigan and stayed in the lovely Cruz Bay Hotel. Emily wore a champagne colored dress and carried a bouquet of pastel colored flowers. As she entered onto Trunk Bay beach, “Here Comes the Bride” played quietly on a steel pan drum. Every wedding needs “something blue” too. Well Emily’s “something blue” was her stunning wedding ring.

The weather was perfect, the beach setting was beautiful, and Mr. and Mrs. Schmitt celebrated their love in Love City! I can’t think of a better place to get married.

  1. I have witnessed countless weddings on various beaches when I am in St. John and I am always struck by how those with just the couple and officiant present seem almost sacred. There’s always time for a celebration later, but the wedding is really about the start of a marriage between two people. Best to Ben and Emily.

  2. Stacy orchestrated our wedding at Trunk Bay 13 years ago. Of course, it was unforgettable, but she also made the work of all the arrangements fun, and every detail was perfect. May Ben & Emily’s marriage always be filled with the light and beauty of that special place.
