We’ve been meaning to tell you all about Beach Gurl Designs for some time now. Beach Girl Designs is a line of fun jewelry with an island vibe and is created on island by Tracy Anderson.
Originally from Nashville, Tracy moved to Florida for life at the beach (a huge reason why we’re all on St. John 🙂 ), but her love for the islands brought her, along with her husband Stan and daughter Marleigh, to live on St. John where she is fulfilling her dream of handcrafting Beach Gurl Designs.
Tracy sells her works – described as simple, chic and versatile so to reflect the natural beauty of the sea – out of her store, which is located in Cruz Bay beside the Cruz Bay Hotel and across from Lime Inn. Tracy says the jewelry can be dressed up for an evening out on the town or dressed down for a day at the beach.
Tracy’s designs will be on display this evening at Best of Both Worlds’ Friday Night Friday Night Fete. The event takes place between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Best of Both Worlds in Mongoose Junction. Wine will be served, and Virgin Fire will be providing appetizers as well. Ten percent of the entire evening’s sales will go to the St. John Revolving Fund in support of Phillip “Grasshopper” Pickering, of the band Inner Visions, who recently suffered a medical issue and had to leave island.
