Beach Break: Watching the Waves at Cinnamon Bay

Hello everyone, it’s Jenn! 🙂 I was out and about over the weekend with some island tour guests, and we stopped over at Cinnamon Bay. There was a bit of a swell on the north shore, which brought a lot of wave action to the beach. I took a quick video to share with all of you, because let’s be honest, who doesn’t need a little beach break? Enjoy!

Looking to explore St. John? Want to visit beautiful beaches, check out amazing historical sites and go off the beaten path? I would LOVE to take you out an about! Please check out www.explorestj.com or email me at [email protected]. You can also check out the daily island images I post over on Facebook and Instagram.

Thanks everyone! Have a great day!

  1. Jenn,
Please.am update on the progress at Cinnamon Bay Campground/Resort. When are they going to open and are they currently taking reservations?

    • Hi Gary,

I think Hillary is planning on working on this one. I hear that the opening is happening in December after a soft opening for family and friends. I’m sure News of St. John will keep you all posted. We’re all so excited to have the campground back! 🙂 -Jenn

  2. I took my wife to Cinnamon bay for the eco tent camping a year before the hurricane took it out and it was amazing. We loved every minute of it. We have been waiting for the day that cinnamon bay would reopen it’s eco camping spots.
