Imagine waking up each morning and rolling over in bed to the iconic views of St. John’s North Shore and the British Virgin Islands. Having your morning coffee while sail boats drift across the sound as you gaze out from your marbled estate. Villa Nonna, in the prestigious Upper Peter Bay Estates, offers unparalleled views, a multitude of amenities and all the comforts of home. And, it’s on the market right now!
Good Morning and Happy Fri-YAY! I wanted to share with you today a video that was released last month that portrays a beautiful story about two hard-working guys and the boat they have built…Not once, not twice but three times!
Good Morning All! The British Virgin Islands has had a busy week with updates. There have been some great, and maybe not so great, news developments from our neighboring islands.
Monday is Virgin Islands – Puerto Rico Friendship Day. Annually, this holiday celebrates the good relations between the neighboring territories and the importance of Puerto Ricans and their cultural contributions to the USVI.
So….Here we are wrapping up the initial update on the current status of Caneel Bay. Earlier this week, I typed up a broad synopsis of what’s been going on with the property since the storms from information in reports by the National Parks Traveler. Today, I’m going to give you a little update on a couple of on-island actions and perspectives.
I realized about a quarter way through interview number two this week that this is going to be a lot more than two parts. So, you’ll be seeing plenty of Caneel Bay related info on News of St. John over the next few weeks. There actually have been a few stirrings on St. John over the past month or two in regards to the fate of the property, but not by CBI Acquisitions or the Department of the Interior….
Good Afternoon! And a Happy Wednesday to you all…A few weeks ago we ran a story on the Animal Care Center on St. John and a co-op of organizations dedicated to evacuating 300 animals from the USVI, BVI and Puerto Rico. In this story, these organizations were seeking financial support to safely transfer these rescues to their stateside partners. Here’s what happened….
If you look for Caneel Bay Resort in the news, there unfortunately isn’t much in the way of updates as to the future of the beloved St. John resort. But, one man continues his diligent search for information on ongoing policies, politics and processes that may eventually decide the fate of the establishment that was once one of the largest employers in Love City.
In this first part of two Caneel Bay updates this week, we will give you some background on what has been going on with the property as reported by National Parks Traveler.
Good Morning and Happy Friday to you all! Last week, the VI Consortium shared a video featuring 15 artists from the USVI and BVI with an absolutely beautiful message, stunning views and impeccable talent. “This Too Shall Pass,” written by Patrick “Soljah” Farrell and Luis Ible Jr. of St. Thomas, paints the picture of working together through the hard times. Once again, Virgin Islanders spread a message of hope, compassion and resiliency….
The USVI is OPEN to visitors again as of tomorrow and we want to highlight a luxury lodging option that is close to town with all of the amenities and incredible views.
A lot of you have commented and sent in messages in regards to the re-opening of the British Virgin Islands. Here’s what we’ve found…
