Fundraiser Scheduled to Support Carolina Corral

Hello everyone and happy Monday! Today, it’s all about the animals. 🙂

Earlier this year, we told you all how it costs roughly $100 a day to feed the animals at the Carolina Corral in Coral Bay. We held a raffle and through your generous support, we were able to help feed the animals for one year, allocating $36,500 to the corral. Well it costs more than that to keep the corral up and running, so they’re holding a  Family Fun Day with the hope of raising money to care for the animals that call the corral home.

Carolina Corral’s Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, October 19th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a variety of fun games including tape the tail on the donkey, magazine’s top places to visit in 2019, will provide a build your own taco bar at 11 a.m sack races, balloon tosses and more. Pony rides will also be available. Lime Out, the floating taco boat that was recently named one of Time .

This is a free event, although donations would be greatly appreciated.

The Carolina Corral is located off of Centerline Road in Coral Bay. If you are coming from Cruz Bay, take your first right onto the dirt road after you pass Skinny Legs. The Corral is around the corner on your righthand side.

  1. I tried to email the Corral at the address listed in the article, and it was rejected. Just trying to make a donation, if anyone knows their mailing address?
