New Restaurant Opening in Coral Bay

Two weeks ago, we told you about how Jolly Dog Trading Co. opened a second location in the former Voyages building – now called the Isola building – out in Coral Bay. Well today, we’d like to tell you about a new restaurant that’s opening right next door – Wok on the Beach.

Wok on the Beach is an Asian fusion restaurant that will feature a Pan-Asian tapas menu, hand-crafted cocktails, as well as an extensive sake and tea menu. Bruce David, the restaurant’s owner and chef, is no stranger to the local restaurant scene. He previously owned Cafe Wahoo, both here and on St. Thomas, for more than 12 years.

After an extensive, 10-month floor-to-ceiling renovation, the space has transformed into a tropical seaside restaurant that seeks to tantalize your taste buds while setting you off on your own culinary adventure. It has both outdoor and indoor seating – it is the only air conditioned restaurant in all of Coral Bay – and it also has a beautiful, yet comfortable inside bar. Take a peek at its menu:

Bruce plans to launch a to-go menu complete with a specific pickup spot for orders. He also plans to launch a brunch menu as well.

Wok on the Beach will be opened daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Its official opening date will be posted on its Facebook page.
