I’m not sure but all of you, but I’ve been glued to the coverage of Hurricane Dorian. I think I can speak on behalf of many St. John residents when I say that our hearts are broken for the people of the Abacos. We understand what they are going through and what lies ahead. I pray that the people living in Florida and the Southeast US are spared this storm’s fury.
I visited Elbow Cay last year before my son was born. It was a “babymoon” of sorts, a vacation I will never forget. I loved the island and its people. I pray for them all today and those living on the neighboring islands.
With that, I am going to take a couple of days off. I hope you all have a nice Labor Day.
The ads in the Daily News for the Labor Day event, sponsored by Love City Strong and Coral Bay Community Council, made no mention of a car show or kids activities. The ad said they were giving away backpacks but they gave paper shopping bags with a few back to school supplies.
I was very disappointed with the event.
Consider selling shirts, rashers.. at a good profit.. fun to wear when visiting
