Holiday Happenings

Drink Christmas Tree 2018Hello everyone, and happy Tuesday! It’s hard to believe that Christmas is one week from today. Here’s a quick rundown of upcoming holiday happenings here on St. John…

Wednesday, December 19th: Holiday Wreath Class by Roses Too
It’s time to DIY your holiday décor with a wreath making workshop brought to you by Roses Too! You have your choice of traditional or willow winter pines plus everything you need to personalize your wreath. This is happening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Drink. The cost is $65 and includes all materials. Please email [email protected] or [email protected] to inquire. Payment is necessary to reserve your spot.

Thursday, December 20th: Governor Mapp’s Holiday Party for Children
The governor’s annual holiday party will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the park in Cruz Bay. Gifts will be given to children between the ages of two and 10. There will be food, games and prizes, as well as a visit from Santa himself!

Friday, December 21st: Coral Bay Christmas Tree Lighting, Carole Sing & Santa
Join the folks in Coral Bay around the Christmas tree as neighborhoods sing carols, so invite all your friends and neighbors to come! Who will bring the biggest, most joyful group? This is a tradition that began in the 1960’s – last year was missed, sadly – but let’s keep it going this year! Don’t forget Santa will be there giving out gifts to all the children that were good this year. This event is happening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pickles.

Friday, December 21st: Get “Truly” Elfed Up at Dog House
Gather the most festive gear you can find and come out to celebrate with at Dog House on the 21st! Wear elf ears, hats, lights, a sweater, tinsil anything to make Buddy the Elf proud! They will have a DJ and drink specials! Hope to see you there with a smile on! The party starts at 9 p.m.

Monday, December 24th: Christmas Eve Pajama Jam
Put on your most festive, funky, comfy, pj party worthy pajamas for this years Christmas Eve Pajama Jam at DR!NK! It’s kinda like being a kid and waiting up for Santa in your jammies … but with drinks and dancing, and you’re not going to get in trouble for staying up too late! So get snuggly and come party with the crew at Drink while we wait for Santa and hope for snow! The party starts at 9 p.m.

Tuesday, December 25th: Christmas Day
St. John doesn’t shut down for the holidays, so many of your favorite shops and restaurants will be open. Looking for a place to have Christmas dinner or even lunch? Make sure to call ahead to see who is open and who is taking the day off.
