Jumbie, December 2018

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! Quite often, I get asked which restaurants are currently open. Well to make it easier for everyone, I made a pretty comprehensive list. If I happen to have missed anyone, it’s due to lack of sleep (having a five month old means no sleep, my friends), not anything personal. 🙂 If I missed you or your favorite bar/restaurant, please let me know and I will add it to the list.

    • Nothing has been done to rebuild Caneel. The public are not allowed on the property. You can go to Honeymoon Beach by hiking to it or taking a dingy from Cruz Bay for $5 each way

    • Just returned from St John. Incredible food!
      4 picks I would definitely recommend > Morgan’s Mango , Extra Virgin,
Longboard and Ocean 362. Many other great casual places too- great burgers. My breakfast pick is High Tide.

  1. Cruz Bay Landing is one of my favorites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you are looking for casual dining. The owner also fed many people for free for months after the hurricane’s and for that we like to pay it forward to him. Everyone that works there is awesome and so is the food and drinks!

  2. Is there anyplace that fixes sandwiches like “Baked in the Sun”? Sure do miss their great food. There are other places that also have great lunches, but so far I haven’t seen anyone with the kind of sandwiches BitS had.
