Hello everyone and happy Saturday! So yesterday I had a News of St. John Island Tour along with our friends at Flyaway Charters. Our guests really wanted to check out the petroglyphs, and Flyaway Charters happily obliged. The great thing is that they were able to hike in from the bottom, rather than make the 2.6 mile trek each way.

So this tour was planned awhile back. At the time, we had no idea what treat our guests were in for. 🙂

As many of you probably know by now, we had a ton of rain this past Thursday. Rain totals on the Cruz Bay side were between eight and 10 inches. It was bananas. But do you know what’s pretty cool about getting that much rain? It means there’s going to be an amazing waterfall at the petroglyphs. Check out this little video we made with the help of Flyaway Charters:

And here’s a beautiful pic they took for us.

Pretty awesome, right??!!

If you’d like to spend the day with us, please send me an email at [email protected]. Or visit www.newsofstjohn.com/islandtour for more information.

Have a great day everyone!

  1. Wow, you have been blessed with a rainbow AND a waterfall on your birthday. And you have blessed us with sharing it. Thank You, Jenn, and happy birthday.

I did the Reef Bay Trail in 1997. Loved it!

We had our first snow yesterday and our leaves aren’t even down yet. I’d rather be in St. John.

    How is Dalton?

  2. Jenn, is it your birthday today (or yesterday)? Happy Birthday!!!! If it is today, then we share a birthday (just I’m a lot older than you!!!!). Have a great birthday and weekend!

  3. Thanks for the beautiful reminder of just how beautiful and special St. John is.
    Happy Blessed Birthday!
Hope to explore the island on a tour in January

  4. There’s another falls above it that’s even higher. A narrow trail to the left which goes pretty much straight up will get you there.
