For those of you who love the Coral Bay Caribbean Oasis just as much as I do, you are going to love today’s “news”!
We were out and about on a News of St. John Tour yesterday and stopped by the Oasis for a quick bite. We were lucky enough to chat with Karen, the owner over at Oasis, for a bit, and she had such great news to share with us!
Karen has decided to open up for breakfast this season. From 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., you can now get a variety of coffee drinks, breakfast sandwiches and muffins. Oasis then closes for lunch, but reopens for dinner at 4 p.m. Here are a couple of pics of the menus:
Karen changes her dinner menu daily, so the pic above is just an example. You can see what’s on the menu by visiting Oasis’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/coralbayoasis
And now here’s a fun fact about the Oasis… It is the only restaurant on St. John with a drive thru window! Check it out!
And lastly, we’d like to thank Karen for simply being a good human. For those of you who have been on St. John over the past several months, you may have noticed groups of people wearing purple shirts. Well they’re the volunteers from All Hands and Hearts, and they are doing amazing work here on island. When they first arrived on St. John, they helped countless residents remove debris from their homes. They are now working to rebuild many homes across the island. Since they have been on island, Karen has invited them into her restaurant so they could relax in the shade. And of course, she helps feed them as well. That’s simply who Karen is, and we love her for that.
So please, the next time you are on St. John, please stop by the Oasis. You won’t regret it.
That’s all we have for your today, folks. If you are on St. John today, stay home and stay dry. Have a great one everyone!
