  1. We arrive on November 29th and are counting the days! We peek at the Beach Bar webcam every day hoping to see activity. Maybe there are some elves under that yellow canopy that are working away but time is ticking down until we can “belly up” at Joe’s or the Beach Bar and order our Rum Punches and Coconut Mojitos. I have a pocket full of money, already bought a brand new pair of drinking shoes, and found a portable/2nd liver to get me through my visit. Jenn, do you have any update on the construction schedule and potential reopening date?

  2. I have also been watching The Beach Bar webcam daily (among others), and we are arriving Dec. 2 and staying until Dec. 16th. I was for a brief moment encouraged when a little while back Reed said exciting progress would begin, but sadly I only saw the “canopy” installed, and really nothing much beyond that. That’s always a frequent stop as we stroll down the hill from Gallows Point, followed by the great $3 your call happy hours at Joe’s Rum Hut (and an occasional Big G!). I can only hope and pray progress will accelerate, but if not, oh well, plenty of other great places to “contribute to the economy”!!!
