Hello everyone and happy Friday! We have GREAT news to share with all of you. The Willy T is back! And it looks amazing!

As many of you may know, the Willy T did not fare well in last fall’s storms. The popular ship, which was converted into a fun little bar/restaurant, ended up on the rocks over at Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands. Well the good news is that the new Willy T – this version is in fact the third Willy T to be anchored off of Norman – arrived in the BVI yesterday. And she looks pretty darn good! Check her out:

So far, there’s no word as to when the latest Willy T will serve up its first drink, but you know we will let you all know as soon as we find out! In the meantime, have an amazing Friday everyone!

  1. Any idea when customs and immigration might open on STJ? We are coming down June 28th, 10 days for Carnival. We have a boat rental thru Island Roots on July 1st. Will we need to clear back thru Charlotte Amalie coming back to STJ?

  2. Sources in th BVI reporting that the William Thornton will not be allowed back in operation in the Bight at Norman Island

  3. Can you believe those BVI government officials are selling out to a property group and blocking the Willy T from anchorage!
I say bring them to the John !

  4. How in the holy heck did they let this guy outfit a brand new boat and get it all the way down to the BVI before telling him he couldn’t reside off Norman…yesterday was like hearing Santa’s footsteps on your roof only to wake up this morning and find out it was the Grinch and Christmas just got cancelled.

Hope the Willy T finds a new home but that spot over at Norman really was perfect. You put it over near Jost and it’s too much, competes with Soggy’s and Foxy’s. Put it next to VG and it’s too far from STJ.

    Bummer.
