On the Market: Panoramic North Shore Views

Today I’d like to tell you about a home that recently listed for sale in one of my favorite neighborhoods on St. John – Catherineberg. This neighborhood can be accessed from both Centerline Road – around mile three at the Virgin Islands National Park sign or via North Shore between Peter Bay and Cinnamon- and it has some of the most incredible views on the island.

Cinnamon Tarn is a three bedroom, 2.5 bath villa with panoramic views of St. John’s North Shore. These views do come with a price tag. So if you are lucky enough to have a lovely bank account, this home may be for you! And for those of you like me, take a look and dream along with me. 🙂 Here are the details straight from 340 Real Estate Co.:

Location, Location, Location! Cinnamon Tarn sits on a knoll with panoramic views of St John’s North shore beaches: Cinnamon & Francis Bay, Mary’s Point & Jost Van Dyke, Tortola & beyond. The architecture and stone work is reminiscent of the Danish sugar mill ruins, one of which you pass on the way to the villa. This 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath villa has a spacious Great Room and gourmet kitchen, large enclosed porch which leads to a master bedroom suite on either end of the veranda. Each private suite has ensuite baths & stone showers. The veranda opens up to an expansive deck & heated swim spa of 13×6.5×3 ft deep. The secluded second level library/bedroom is reached by an internal staircase & has it’s own private deck. The villa setting is very private and secluded with gated access, easy driveway.

    • Yes. It’s bumpy at the beginning of each side and then a small section on the middle. The majority is paved.

      • We’ve stayed at Cinanon Tarn five times and it has a wonderful view. We’re coming back in 5 weeks—can’t wait! Half the fun of staying there is the bumpy dirt road—especially down to the North Shore Rd. We’re so happy the house has been all repaired from Irma!

  1. We’ve stayed here 2 times when it was a rental villa. Gorgeous views!! Only thing I didn’t like about it was no A/C through out. A couple of days there were no breezes & it got hot. Beautiful property though.

    • Gotta add: if I had anywhere near that kind of money, I’d buy it in a heartbeat & put AC throughout. It’s everything/the ultimate my heart has ever dreamed of owning on STJ.
It truly has “jaw-dropping-stunning” views & a comfortable liveable layout.

Hint…hint to future owner:…….and I’d keep it on the rental market so others can enjoy this amazing piece of heaven-on-earth!! Ha!

    • wait, what…$3.5 and it has no AC in any rooms? Elevation is high, but we all now how plentiful no wind days are up there too.
