Colombo’s Smoothie Stand Reopens!

IMG_4121

Yet another business has reopened on island! Such great news!

For those of you who have been lucky enough to drive down Centerline Road over the past week, you may have noticed that Colombo’s Smoothie Stand, located at mile 7, is now open. The place looks great and the smoothies look even better!

As always, free rum is included in every smoothie. Those storms took a lot away from us, but they can’t take away our free rum!! You don’t get an actual bottle of free rum, but you can add it for free to any smoothie – equally as great in my book. Check out their current menu:

The smoothie stand itself underwent a bit of a makeover too. Check out the pics:

Colombo’s is currently open everyday except Saturdays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. They are looking for additional employees so they can expand their hours to seven days a week. We will let you all know when that happens. Have a great day everyone!

what’s wrong with that? people have to make a living on island. everything costs more here and this is about having fun and getting an experience out of it. well worth the price.

Is this the smoothie stand owned by a couple from Indiana, the lady is a nurse? We met a couple in July 2017 who had just bought a smoothie stand and the woman was going to work at the clinic on the island. I can’t remember their names but they are the nicest people!

      Lisa,
Thank you so much for the wonderful compliment! Unfortunately, due to Irma we never formally closed. We are working diligently on a new closing date. We look forward to serving you all your favorite smoothies soon!

So glad to hear from you all! We worried about you during the hurricane.
We would love to come back to St John in 2019 and will definitely visit your smoothie business.

Sean, getting fleeced is not a fun experience. On the other hand, if it’s a quality smoothie $8 is not unreasonable. If it’s just ice and fruit, the value is minimal.

Dukes, have you been on the island? if you have you should know the reason why everything is more than stateside. Everything other than rum, that is!

Wow! This is bellwether news! We just booked the annual visit for the end of April with a couple who are VI virgins and this makes me know they’re going to have a great time. Who can say no to a luscious, freshly made smoothie with free rum!?! Colombo’s is a treasure and each smoothie is worth its weight in gold!

I (and everyone else, I’m sure) really appreciate these updates and your candidness on the good, the bad, and the ugly shows progress alongside how much there is still to be done. Even the currently ugly will become beautiful again, no doubt!

I’m personally looking forward to the next Coral Bay update since we always stay on that end in Upper Carolina.

Keep it up, Jenn. You’re the best!
