The “Cancelled” 8 Tuff Miles was a Success!

IMG_1288

I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of the runners, all of the volunteers and to all of the people who came out to support the first ever “cancelled” 8 Tuff Miles race! We estimated that more than 200 people crossed the finish line this year, which is pretty incredible for a cancelled race! As always, we had a ton of fun handing out water, rum punch and shots at our water station at mile 8. Here are a few pics we took this morning:

Despite being cancelled, today’s event was amazing! And let’s hope this is the last time we have to hold a “cancelled” event here on St. John. Have a great day everyone!

  1. Love that this went on and that the humor and love of St.John continues! And the pic of Leslie passing the water to the runner…she’s the Vanna White of beverage hand-offs! 😀
