  1. Even with the devastation many of the pictures were beautiful, especially the overlook at Trunk Bay. I’m so glad it’s all coming back to the way it was, maybe with some improvements. Thank you for the pictures. One day I do hope to make it there.

  2. Jen, I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your blog. I crave being back- Every. Single. Day. And your blog brings a little peice of it to my day.
My heart broke when I learned for the hurricane 4 months ago. Wish I could be down there volunteering to help out but sounds like I won’t be back for at least a few years. Save some work for me for when I get there! 🙂 That’s how I first came to St. John, on a volunteering trip. It looks amazing with what everyone’s been doing, you guys are doing a great job(Mother nature has certainly put in the work too by the looks of it!). Still and always beautiful there. Until I get back, in the meantime St. John and all of the people that inhabit the island are in my thoughts and prayers. <3

  3. Thank you for keeping us posted. So happy to see the trees green again. We were scheduled to come in November and will definitely come back in 2018. Would love to hear more about Coral Bay and the East End. Thank you. Happy New Year

  4. Looking forward to our 18th annual trip in March. We booked our two week trip before the Hurricane, and fortunately our Villa sustained only minor damage.

We are heartened by the resilience of the Island and St. Johnians!

  5. Thank you so much for keeping us updated with pictures! I wish we could come this year like we always do, but found out that the Westin will be closed now until 2019. We own two weeks there.

    Thank you again for sharing!

    Ken

Quick ? Did the Casino survive?

  7. Thank you for keeping everyone up to date on the progress, looks great can’t wait to come back. Hopefully June, we where only there once last July but fell in love . The people are amazing, the beaches breathtaking.

  8. Jenn – the transformation has been incredible with obviously so much to be a done. You’re an amazing inspiration to us all in what you have done and continue to do for the island. Hope to be back soon and take one of your island tours!

  9. Oh this brings happiness to my heart! I love your island. I am so grateful and proud of how much hard work has been done. It looks beautiful! Well done. As a school teacher I am wondering if your school children are in need of items. Maybe my classroom could help?

  10. Thank you for keeping us posted, we’ve been coming to every carnival since 2002 and I just booked my tix for my family last week. Your updates and pics played a huge part, also our overall love for the “little rock”.

  11. Jenn, we can’t thank you enough, for all of your updates, on our beautiful STJ. Also…..congrats! So happy for all 3 of you!!

  12. Jenn, These are wonderful thank you for posting. The speed of nature’s recovery has been remarkable. Not to forget how quickly the island has recovered due to the devotion and hard work of so many volunteers. It really has been something to behold, and does the heart such good! I will be back in a couple of weeks, and this trip I plan to enjoy the island more than I had the chance to do when I was there during the beginning of December.

  13. Jen, any word on when direct flights will be back online into St Thomas. Many of us wondering from NY. Thanks for posting the pics and for your daily inspiration.

  14. Amazing! Mother nature at work. I know there has been so much work done, but so happy to see all the trees recovering.

  15. It is amazing to see mother nature at work. Irma/Maria won’t keep us away. 10th annual year trip has been booked as of this week. LVUSVI STJ

  16. Jenn I can not thank you enough for all of your info you have been providing. St. John looks really good. We are planning on a trip in the next 3 weeks.

  17. Jenn- these pictures bring such a smile to my face. We have been monitoring conditions since the hurricanes hit. It is amazing how mother nature can heal. It is also a testament to the tremendous efforts by many to help put our lovely piece of paradise back together. This warms my heart. Returning soon-Thank you!!
