New Year’s Eve Happenings

2014 new year-

I simply cannot believe that it is almost New Year’s Eve. There are several fun things happening on island. Here’s a quick rundown…

The Beach Bar: The Beach Bar is opening for one night only, and we’re pretty certain they’re going to throw a great party! (Don’t worry, they will be open full time soon enough…) Here’s what they had to say on their Facebook page:

The Best NYE Shindig on St John is just a couple of days away!! THE ISH…LIVE on Cruz Bay Beach at Wharfside Village!! NO COVER CHARGE….NO CUSTOMS FEES…$1 Coronas and Red Stripes, $3 Cocktails & Shots, $9 Lamarca Bubbly Splits!!! COME REVEL WITH US….COLD BEER, HOT ROCK, EXPECT NO MERCY!!!

The party starts at 8 p.m. at The Beach Bar.

Drink: Drink recently reopened, and we couldn’t be more excited about that! They’re having their annual party too complete with a ball drop. Here’s what they had to say on their Facebook page:

Counting down to 2018 and the great NYE party at DR!NK!! We’ll be rockin out with our favorite DJ Top Notch, with drink specials, the ball drop, and did we mention no cover charge?! See you there!!

The party starts at 9 p.m. at Drink.

Lime Inn: Lime Inn is getting in on the action too this year, and their party sounds like it’s going to be a blast. Here’s what they had to say over on their Facebook page:

After a crazy 2017, we at the Lime Inn will be having a New Years Eve Block Party. There will be a 100ft ball drop from a BBC truck, drink specials, music by DJ General Kuntry, and more fun tings. Come ring in the New Year the right way, with lots of bubbles.

The party starts at 8:30 p.m. at Lime Inn. Admission is $20 and includes a split of Mionetto.

Looks like it’s going to be an other great New Year’s Eve on St. John!!

  1. We are very blessed to have an opportunity to enjoy our favorite place on earth the last five days and looking forward to ringing in 2018 with our St John friends. The great people of St John are nicer than ever and so thankful for their guests. Yesterday we had an awesome boat trip to Norman and Jost thanks to Captain Zack of Island Explorer. Had a great lunch at Pirate’s Bite and a blast at Foxys and loved the new and improved Soggy Dollar. Grande Bay is an excellent place to call home in STJ. St John is definitely ready. So glad we have a few more days in paradise. Book your trips!!!

  2. So happy to hear of all the festivities on SJ tonight!!! Wish we could be there to bring in the New Year! Happy New Year to all of you and thank you so much for all the updates!!! It makes my heart so happy to hear of all the recovery efforts and I admire the grit and determination of all of you!! Big hugs and hearts being sent your way!

  3. First off, Happy New Year to you Jenn!! You’re doing a great job and deserve some “party time”. Secondly, Happy New Year to all our St. John fam!! Here’s to a prosperous 2018!! Cheers!

  4. Happy New Year to everybody on island and off. When I’m not watching Nascar I’m reading this site to find out bout my beloved St. John.

  5. 2,342,451 seconds until we are finally on St. John! It can’t come soon enough! We can’t wait to have the beaches to ourselves!
