We have great news to share today from our friends over at Gallows Point Resort.Their on-site restaurant, Ocean 362, reopened last week, and from what we heard, the new chef and new menu are great!
Ocean 362 has some of the best views on island, in my opinion. It’s a great spot to have a sunset drink – upstairs at their rooftop bar – or a great meal downstairs in their dining room. (Although you can opt to have dinner at the rooftop bar if you’d like.) And this is a great time to watch the sunset at Gallows, as the sun is currently setting right offshore in front of the resort.
As I mentioned, the restaurant has a new chef, Paul Trujillo, and a new menu this season. Check it out:

Ocean 362 is open for dinner Monday through Saturday. The rooftop bar opens at 5 p.m. and dinner begins at 5:30 p.m.
Now on to the resort…
Gallows just completed its new sundeck, pool and spa, and it looks great! The resort is now accepting reservations for Christmas and beyond. Who wants to spend a last minute holiday vacation on St. John where the weather is perfect and the beaches are practically empty??!! You know you do! Thanks for all the updates…all this good news is so encouraging. We are staying @ Gallows Point early March 2018 and can’t wait to come back post-hurricanes……. this will be our 4th stay at Gallows …wonderful place and staff…best wishes to all the local businesses and residents on continued rebuilding…you live in a magical island

Hi Jenn, I’m happy Gallows was able to finish their pool with all the mayhem going on, but it looks like it’s now directly adjacent to the villa in building 15 that we’ve stayed in for the past five years. Anything you might know that I don’t??

Hi Donna – As the owner of 15A, lower villa closest the the pool, I can reassure you that we were involved in the pool design and it won’t impact the privacy of our villa or our spectacular view!
