Gosh, it truly feels like it’s auction/raffle season! We’ve got another one to tell you about folks! The annual Gifft Hill School auction is happening now! Here are all of the details…
Each year, the Gifft Hill School holds its annual gala which supports the school’s scholarship fund. More than 70 percent of the students who attend Gifft Hill receive some sort of scholarship assistance, so this is a pretty important event. This year’s gala is happening on Saturday, March 11th. Can’t make it? No need to worry! You can get in on the action from the comfort of your own home.
You can participate two ways: 1. Bid in its online auction. 2. Purchase a Golden Ticket.

Golden Ticket
You can also participate and support the school by purchasing a Golden Ticket. Golden Tickets cost $100 and only 200 will be sold. The Golden Ticket will be drawn at the start of the Live Auction. The winner need not be present to win. The winner chooses their prize from the list of 25 items. That item is then pulled from the list of offerings and not auctioned off at the event, but instead given to the winning ticket holder. For those of you looking to attend the gala, there is currently a wait list. You can add your name to that list by calling 340-776-1735. Tickets are available, however, for the Silent Auction/cocktail hour portion of the evening, which lasts from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The cost for that ticket is $25.
This year’s theme is Carnival, so it will be colorful and fun! R&I Patton is again creating a new gorgeous set of jewelry to be raffled that evening. The school will also have its famous Wall of Wine – guests can purchase chances to play the “Heads or Tails” game to win the entire wall of wine, about 100 bottles.
And after the event, everyone is invited to head on over to Drink for an afterparty. All proceeds of that event will benefit Gifft Hill School.
