How many of you have been longing to trade your stateside job for endless days enjoying the beautiful waters of the Caribbean? Perhaps you’re already on island and are looking to purchase an established business here? Well look no further…
We recently learned that our friends over at Sail Safaris have decided to list their popular business for sale. For those of you not familiar with Sail Safaris, it’s a sailing charter business that includes the Dell Rose, a 40-foot Beneteau ocean sailing yacht, Fly Girl, a 27-foot racing sailing catamaran, two beach catamarans and two kayaks. It also includes a snorkeling gear rental business with 60 new snorkeling sets, bags and more. Lastly, the business has a storefront lease. Sail Safaris’ storefront is located across from Cruz Bay beach near the Banana Deck.
Sail Safaris is profitable, according to its owners, and all current bookings will be passed along to the new owners. So you may be wondering why a profitable business in the Virgin Islands is listed for sale? Well the owners, Eric and Kellie Barley, recently purchased the Barefoot Cowboy Lounge and handling the two business is simply overwhelming. Therefore they’ve decided to focus their efforts on the restaurant and have listed the charter business for sale.
The asking price for Sail Safaris is $550,000. You can learn more about the business by visiting its website at www.sailsafaris.net.
