Let’s Send Some Love From Love City

journal delaware family
Last week we wrote about a family from Delaware who fell ill from suspected methyl bromide poisoning while vacationing here on St. John. Two teenaged boys remain in a coma and their father remains hospitalized as well. Our friend Leah Randall had an amazing idea – one we’d like to share with all of you.

We’re not called Love City for nothing, so today, and for the rest of this week, we’d like all of you to join us in sending some love to Steve Esmond, his wife Theresa Devine and their two teenaged sons. Leah created two journals and left one at Connections in Cruz Bay and another at Connections in Coral Bay. (Connections in Cruz Bay is located one block from the ferry dock near Castaways and the old First Bank. Connections in Coral Bay is located next to Skinny Legs.)

For those of you on island, please stop by either Connections and take a moment to send some love to this family who needs our support. And for those of you off island who would like to pass along some love, please leave your comments here on this page. We will print all of them and will include them in the journal.

Connections in Cruz Bay is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays. Connections in Coral Bay is open 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays. The journals will be available through the weekend.
