Halloween is just one week away, so if you haven’t planned your costume yet, get to it! There are a lot of great events happening throughout the island and a bunch of trips, cash prizes and more up for grabs. Let’s get right to it…

The Mongoose Monster Ball

Mongoose Junction is getting into the action this year with its first ever The Mongoose Monster Ball. Here’s what they had to say about it:

“Come by our party first and let us know that you would like to be considered for the Best Costume Prize. We’ll take your picture, get your cell phone number and text you 20 minutes prior to the contest if you are a finalist.  We hope you’ll enjoy yourself with us all night, but if you have made a great effort on the costume and want go go bar hopping Cruz Bay, we get it.”

Judges will choose the finalists. Winners will be chosen by crowd participation. You must be present to win.

So what exactly is up for grabs? How about a weekend trip to Miami for two including airfare and hotel plus more than $600 in gift certifications to a variety of Mongoose Junction retailers. And to make the party even better – Inner Visions will be playing from 9 p.m. to midnight. Sounds like it will be a blast!

Skinny Legs Annual Halloween Bash

Motu Halloween

If we know anything about the ladies at Motu, it’s that they know how to throw one heck of a party!

They’re at it again with their Heroes vs Villains Halloween party. Dress as your favorite hero, villain or anything else that suits your fancy, but definitely dress to impress.

They expect competition to be steep and some pretty good prizes will be awarded. Motu will also be debuting the new Patron Incendio.

And a delicious little side note: Motu’s monthly seasonal special is a pumpkin Bushwacker. It’s like a pumpkin pie jumped into your frozen drink .. topped with a bit of cinnamon of course. Yum!
