We’ve got another piece of news out of Coral Bay this week … one of its popular watering holes just listed for sale.
Island Blues hit the MLS this week, and for $99,999, it could be yours.
According to its listing, Island Blues is looking for a cash buyer. The listing states that the restaurant has 22 seats at the bar and 40 table seats. It also mentions that there is room on the property for expansion, and that the monthly rent is $4,500. The listing states that there are lease terms through October 2016.

Right in the middle of a deafening, years long construction site if the few insiders have their way. On the positive side they will have a front row seat where they will be able to chronicle the destruction of Coral Bay Harbor–that’s a one time event not to be missed.

Lease terms through Oct 2016. That is probably about the same amount of time it will take to get that marina completed on island time. Write in a clause where the landlord has to pay back your purchase price if they don’t renew your lease after Oct 2016 nor can they raise your rent more than 5% per year and you could have a pretty good ride for a couple of years.
I have a piece of property on Bordeaux Mt. With my ex and my brother and he already built on his part of the 2 acres we purchased in the 90’s. Unfortunately I cannot build on my acre because of our divorce but I know I can get more for the property if the marina goes in. I don’t care about the $. Believe me I could totally use it but the thought of them screwing up Coral Bay is DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not on that scale at least. Can’t we get a lawyer to defend Coral Bay? If everyone chips in what are our chances? They will probably pull some crap like they did regarding SIREN USA or the other one in Chocolate Hole. How can these people be stopped? I thought we were safe because we could never put in an airport but I guess not. Please let me know if I can do anything.
